I think it's interesting that we never see TOWW in a state of dormancy. I was initially thinking about this in relation to Aym and Baal, because they are either sleeping or meditating (eyes closed) until called into action. Both things that "pass time" faster. Even the Red Crown has its eye closed until its transferred to Lamb.

Since sleeping/meditating through it greatly negates the effects of the punishment. Because they're not actually experiencing it. They're either dreaming (where they would have no sense of the passage of time) or their perception of time is altered so that a thousand years feels like a fraction of that.

It would seem that TOWW never gets to rest in any capacity. And maybe that is what the red around his eyes is signifying, rather than being puffy from crying. And maybe also why he goes full megalomaniac but then mellows out real fast lmao

But his trophy would suggest that "dormant" should be his default state. Everyone's trophies and shrines consistently depict them with wide open eyes, even in death. The only part of him that should be awake is the Crown, and yet that role is reversed in the Realm Beyond.

yeahhhh so chirin's first death wasnt even violent or dramatic they just had an anxiety induced loss of appetite and once the adrenaline from their crusade and fight against leshy wore off they starved to death lmao.
